Hello, I’m Elizabeth
I am a San Francisco based artist and designer with a BFA in Art & Design from the University of Michigan. At the heart of my work is a deep commitment fostering connection. Finding thoughtful, imaginative ways to help people feel seen and heard matters to me. I was raised by stories. My grandfather taught science fiction and fantasy, and learning how to listen closely, and tell a good story in return, became core to who I am. Translating emotional experiences into a visual language is the through-line of my practice. I am always making. Most recently, I created a children’s book, Every Bunny Belongs, which follows Bitsy, a young rabbit searching for her place in the world, a reflection of my lifelong interest in identity, tenderness, and belonging.
When I’m not in the studio, you’ll likely find me on a picnic blanket in the park. I have a soft spot for speckled dogs in rain jackets, children dusted in sidewalk chalk, sentimental knick-knacks, and beautiful stationery. I love writing handwritten letters, assembling care packages, baking bread, and hosting dinner parties for friends, small, intentional rituals that mirror the way I approach my work: with care, patience, and joy. I look forward to the opportunity to tell stories alongside other talented nurturers, people with good hearts and thoughtful minds. I am energized by collaborative environments that cultivate trust, creativity, and community.
